Old Timer's Closet Sizing Guide

Lord knows, sizing is not consistent across the gamut of clothes out there and add in vintage sizing and you've got a ton of questions to whether or not a piece if gonna fit so I've tried to make it as simple as possible by standardizing the measurement of the garments.  You can compare the sizing to a piece of clothing you presently wear to get an idea as to whether or not it will fit.

SIZING GUIDE FOR SHIRTS:

MARKED SIZE:  If there's a tag present, I'll do my best to include the size the original producers thought was a good fit.
SHOULDER TO SHOULDER: For this we measure from the top of the armhole seam on the back of the garment to the other armhole seam.
CHEST: This is a measurement from armpit to armpit that is doubled.
LENGTH: From the collar down to the tail of the shirt right down the middle.
SLEEVES: From the top armhole seam down to the end of the cuff.

If you have questions or would like additional measurements you can always reach out to us at howdy@oldtimerscloset.com and we'll do our best to get back to you just as soon as we can.
